Responsibilities & Context:
This Position is responsible for overseeing dyeing processes and conducting technical evaluations in the dyeing lab. This role involves managing dyeing procedures, ensuring quality control, and troubleshooting issues related to dyeing performance.
Ensure continuous improvement in Right First Time (RFT%) from lab to bulk and customer production, while minimizing rework and wastage.
Develop and optimize chemical and dye formulations/processes to achieve accurate and consistent color results.
Supervise and monitor the preparation of lab recipes in alignment with required color, shade, and quality parameters.
Formulate and adjust color recipes using Datacolor Matching System, with proficiency in shade correction through Smart Matching and production matching techniques.
Maintain regular follow-up on sample development, ensuring high accuracy and accountability.
Accurately estimate color and chemical consumption based on order quantities.
