Mandatory Requirements:

  • Ensure smooth coordinatlon withdifferent stakeholders including CIC and complete all the administrative tasks with the CIC office, especially in the outstanding camps.
  • Responsible for maintaining regular communication with Centre Managers and Case Managers to coordinate and implement community led initiatives according to the DlP.
  • Ensure a quality work environmcnt by maintaining a code of conduct, PSEA and child protection policy ln MPCAC and Community Centre.
  • Support managers to celebrate different UN-dcsignated Days in MPCAC and Two host community centres.
  • ldentify the needs and gaps in field-level activities to enhance the protoction activity.
  • Having expcrience in quality report writing and developing need based tools.
  • Having experience in managerial role.
  • Sound Knowledge on Computer Skills.
  • Able to communicate with EnglishIanguage (Speaking & Writing)o
  • Able to speak & understand the Rohingya/ Chittagonlan Language.


Responsibilities & Context:

Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites application for the position of Officer-Community Mobilization from the potential Bangladeshi nationals for implementing ‘‘Education and Protection for Refugee Children (EPRC) Project’’ funded by UNHCR located at Ukhiya & Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar.

Key areas of performance /Responsibility /Accountability:

  • Ensure smooth coordination with different stakeholders including CIC and complete all the administrative tasks with the CIC office, especially in the outstanding camps.

  • Responsible for maintaining regular communication with Centre Managers and Case Managers to coordinate and implement community-led initiatives according to the DIP.

  • Ensure a quality work environment by maintaining a code of conduct, PSEA and child protection policy in MPCAC and Community Centre.

  • Monitoring the regular awareness sessions of outstanding camps.

  • Provide all required data to the relevant project persons including but not limited to PC, MEAL, and IMS with detailed information regarding activities in a monthly basis (beneficiary’s attendance with breakdown by gender and age, activates carried out, issues affecting program delivery, material requisition.

  • Conduct training Need assessment (TNA) to determine occupational skill training for volunteers of outstanding camps.

  • Support managers to celebrate different UN-designated Days in MPCAC and Two host community centres.    

  • Identify the needs and gaps in field-level activities to enhance the protection activity.

  • Ensure the Child Protection Policy and minimum standards in all program interventions at Outstanding Camps. 

Reporting & Documentation:      

  • Ensure all meeting minutes/training resolution/reporting with indicator-wise activities in outstanding camps·      

  • Prepare and submit meeting minutes of monthly CIC coordination meetings of outstanding camps to the Project Office.      

  • Ensure community-led initiatives are properly documented and submitted on time.·      

  • Prepare and submit monthly reports to the project office with the collaboration of Case and centre managers.  

Coordination & Communication:

  • Attend camp-based coordination meetings.      

  • Attend monthly CP coordination meetings.      

  • Maintain good communication with Govt. personnel and other working partner of the camp.

Safegurding and PSEA:

  • S/he should abide by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC)’s six core principles on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy.

  • Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program`s goals on safeguarding implementation.

  • Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
