Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree, preferably in Social Science/ English/ Journalism/ Public Administration or equivalent.

Job Context:
∎ The Role: This position will mainly responsible for providing on time orientation to the new joiners, international arrivers, provide refresher training both for SCI and partner staff and ensuring compliance of child safeguarding minimum standards. S/he will work under the direct supervision of the Deputy Manager - Child Safeguarding. The incumbent must ensure that all the new partner staff including contractual, causal and/or outsourced staff have received CS orientations within 3 days of joining and ensure that all the related documents are in place and stored properly. S/he will also conduct CS investigation and report writing. S/he will ensure coordination with all sectors of Cox`s Bazar to ensure CS standards in operation. S/he will also ensure the availability of IEC materials in camps and those are placed rightly, provide support to store the investigation related documents maintaining confidentiality and support to assess the Child Safeguarding risks and help to mitigate those in different projects.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 years' of working experience, preferably in child protection/child safeguarding in development sector.
∎ Experience of handling of complex child protection/safeguarding investigations and or disciplinary investigations.
∎ Experience of planning, organizing and conducting training programs/workshops in child protection/safeguarding at various levels.
∎ Ability to work closely with partner organizations to develop and implement child safeguarding procedures.
∎ Excellent communication skill both in Bangla & English and must have excellent report writing skills. Communication skills in Cox'Blocal language will be an asset.
∎ Proficiency in standard office computer software, e.g. MS-Office
