Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide Level 1 and Leave 2 IT support services of IT related to various banking systems. Dedicatedly work in IT Service Desk Team, ensure necessary service ticketing, appropriate assignment of service ticket, do necessary escalations when needed.
∎ Root cause analysis of the issues and take measure of permanently killing of issues.
∎ Act as the key point from where all request will be landed in the right team to ensure best IT services by maintain acceptable resolution time.
∎ Closely work with the cross functional People/team for faster resolutions of the issues.
∎ Acts as ITSM support analysts in the Bank, ensure smooth running of ICT services, such as application services, local network infrastructure, telecommunications, internet connectivity, printing, server systems and IT room facilities, end-user IT equipment etc.
∎ Works closely and passionately to leverage IT service desk portal / Helpdesk System.
∎ Acts as the escalation point for the Bank IT service desk, ensuring timely and appropriate delivery of Bank ICT supports.
∎ Coordinates, provides, and monitors local support, troubleshooting, resolution of routine hardware and various banking software issues.
∎ Work closely to monitor overall IT service issues of the bank, analysis, take corrective measures to ensure best customer experience.
∎ Analyzes and consolidates IT requirements of the bank, issues and opportunities for improvement, representing the voice of end users.
∎ Time to time reports to management on overall IT Services.
∎ Guide and empower end users of the Bank, provide necessary training on banking applications/ process/ systems when required, including guidance on data security, integrity and confidentiality.
Additional Requirements:
∎ 4-5 years of experience in managing and supporting IT services in any Bank (or banking solution’s vendor company) practicing ITSM standard.
∎ Experience in IT Service Management and in taking ownership of IT-related issues, and providing excellent support services to end users.
∎ Well versed and experience in various banking solutions, processes and technologies, trends, culture.
∎ Excellent understanding of IT Service management tools and hands on experience with ITSM tool will be an advantage.
∎ Professional training on modern technology and ITSM related certifications will be preferable.
∎ Knowledge of banking applications troubleshooting, understanding of generic architecture of various banking solutions and support service nature, proficient in writing SQL queries,
∎ Oracle/MS SQL databases, administrative experience in web servers and web applications support management.
∎ Foundations knowledge on IT Infra and systems related services.
∎ Proactive personality and positive support mentality is very important for this role.
∎ Demonstrated ability to coordinate with colleagues at multiple levels, within own work location and throughout Bank, and ability to work collaboratively as a team lead.
∎ Good oral and written communication skills in English.
