Job Experience
• Three to five years of experience in life or health insurance sales
• Experience selling microinsurance or low-value rural products is a strong advantage
• Experience working with MFIs, NGOs, or rural networks
• Prior training or supervision of insurance agents is highly preferred
• Experience with claim documentation or field verification is an added plus

We are expanding our Life & Health Insurance division and seeking an experienced Sales Lead to drive adoption, build field capability, and scale our insurance programs across the country.
The Life & Health Insurance Sales Lead will manage sales strategy, field team performance, partner relationships, and product growth.
This role requires leadership, hands-on field experience, and a deep understanding of how to communicate insurance concepts to rural customers.
You will play a key role in building the future of rural life and health protection in Bangladesh.
• Lead and supervise field agents selling life and health insurance
• Set monthly and quarterly sales targets and ensure performance delivery
• Design sales campaigns for rural and semi-urban customers
• Identify new regions and communities for insurance outreach
• Train field staff on life and health insurance products, claims, benefits, exclusions
• Develop easy-to-understand training materials for low-literacy audiences
• Ensure ethical selling and compliance during all field interactions
• Explain life and health insurance in simple terms
• Support customers in selecting the right plan based on household needs
• Review nominee information, household data, and risk declarations
• Ensure proper documentation, forms, and verification steps
• Guide field teams on health claim documents, medical notes, death certificates, and verification reports
• Support families during claim situations with empathy and professionalism
• Maintain communication with insurer partners and internal insurance ops team
• Maintain accurate data entry and reporting dashboards
• Monitor field performance, resolve challenges, and optimize sales processes
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and partner standards
