• Educational Qualification: M. Sc. & B. Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Information Security/ Cyber Security, etc. Candidates having professional qualifications, e.g. CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT, COBIT 5, CISSP, CCSP, ISO 27001 (ISMS) Lead Auditor, ISO 22301 (BCMS) Lead Auditor/ Lead Implementer, CEH, CHFI, CCISO, CPENT, PCI DSS Qualified Security Assessors (QSA), etc. will be given preference.

• Job Experience: Minimum 3 to 15 years working/ auditing experience in the field of Information Systems Audit/ IT Security/ IT Risk Management/ ICT Operations.

• Additional qualification:

  i) Ability to travel to other locations when needed.

  ii) Work under pressure and on timely manner.

  iii) Excellent problem solving, oral and written communication skills and high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  iv) Strong analytical skills necessary to prepare audit programs, work papers, and reports and determine corrective action.

  v) Strong leadership characteristics with ability to effectively communicate and interact with the board of directors and senior management.

  vi) Self-managed, motivated, and open to change and continuous improvement.

  vii) Ability to maintain a high ethical degree of confidentiality and objectivity.

• Plan and conduct audits of IT systems, networks, and security controls.

• Conduct comprehensive IT audits to assess the effectiveness and security of IT systems.

• Evaluate IT governance, risk management, internal controls, effectiveness of access controls, authentication protocols, and data backup procedures.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

• Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure implementation of audit recommendations.

• Document audit procedures, findings, and recommendations clearly and concisely.

• Prepare formal reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.

• Review policies and procedures for compliance with industry standards and regulations.

• Document audit findings, assess risk levels, and recommend remediation actions to enhance IT systems and processes.

• Collaborate with internal IT, cybersecurity, and compliance teams during audits

• Perform risk assessments and gap analyses on new systems or technologies

• Monitor audit follow-up activities and ensure implementation of recommendations

• Stay up to date on evolving threats, technologies, and regulatory requirements

• Acts as a liaison between the bank and external auditors and regulatory examiners; and

• Perform any other jobs assigned by the Head of Audit.
