Responsibilities & Context: Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
Job Context:
The IQAC office is established in higher education institutions to promote a culture of continuous quality improvement and ensure compliance with accreditation and institutional standards. The office manager is expected to coordinate administrative and operational activities, acting as the primary support for the IQAC team.
This role is both administrative and collaborative, requiring effective communication, organizational skills, and a good understanding of institutional policies and quality assurance practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- To manage day-to-day operations of the IQAC office.
- To maintain files, records, circulars, and documentation in both digital and physical formats.
- To oversee office supplies, equipment, and maintenance.
- To coordinate schedules, appointments, meetings, and events for the IQAC Director/Additional Directors.
- To draft official letters, notices, emails, and reports.
- To collect, compile, and organize data from departments for IQAC initiatives.
- To maintain updated databases required for accreditation and quality
- To ensure timely submission of data templates from academic and administrative units.
- To maintain repository of supporting documents, reports, and minutes for quality assurance activities.
- To assist in any accreditation-related documentation
- To organize IQAC meetings regularly as per guidelines
- To prepare agenda, circulate notice, compile presentations, and record minutes.
- To manage logistics for workshops, seminars, training sessions and quality initiatives.
- To act as the central communication point between IQAC and academic/administrative departments.
- To tack progress of action plans and quality improvement initiatives.
- To ensure implementation of decisions taken in IQAC meetings.
- To follow up with departments for compliance and timely data submission.
- To assist in implementing quality enhancement strategies across the university.
- Facilitate best practice documentation and benchmarking.
- To execute Any other relevant responsibilities as directed by the Directors of IQAC.
