∎ Organizational Context and Scope
∎ The Government of the People`s Republic of Bangladesh (GoB) is implementing the "Recovery and Advancement of Informal Sector Employment (RAISE): Reintegration of Returning Migrants" project with a soft loan from the World Bank. Under the project, the Wage Earners` Welfare Board (WEWB) has taken the initiative to set up a reintegration programme for returnee migrants.
∎ The International Organization (IOM) in Bangladesh as the lead consultant will support WEWB with the implementation of counseling and migrant workers welfare services through the establishment and operation of Welfare Centers (WCs) in the 30 selected districts in Bangladesh. The major activities under the WCs are to identify and select returnee migrants (as per selection criteria), provide psychosocial counseling, refer the beneficiaries to needful support and services from the respective service provider organizations, and provide cash incentives to the selected beneficiaries.
∎ Ovibashi Karmi Unnya Program (OKUP) is a rights-based migrant organization. OKUP promotes and protects human rights, labour rights, justice and dignity of all migrant workers irrespective of gender, across borders, through putting migrants` perspectives at the center of migration discourse at all levels through unity and empowerment of migrant workers themselves. OKUP as the Implementing Partner (IP) of IOM for RAISE project, will be implementing field activities of the project in selected districts. To this end, OKUP is seeking suitable candidates for 5 Office Assistant Personnel positions who will be placed at 5 districts.
∎ Under the overall guidance of the Project Management Unit (PMU), Assistant Director (AD) of WEWB and direct supervision of the Project Coordinator from OKUP the Office Assistant Personnel will be responsible for the tasks mentioned as below:

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide administrative, logistical, and secretarial support.
∎ Manage and keep records of all documents and correspondence.
∎ Ensure the office rooms and restrooms are consistently clean and well-organized.
∎ Arrange refreshments such as tea, coffee, and snacks for office staff and visitors.
∎ Support to procure logistics materials, stationaries and project materials as necessary.
∎ Perform duty travel as required for project implementation.
∎ Perform other duties assigned by Assistant Director (welfare center in charge), PMU and Project Coordinator /Counselor/Deputy Counselor of IOM and OKUP
∎ Ensure 100% standards in financial and logistical management to meet accountability and transparency.
∎ Represent OKUP when and where necessary.
∎ This list of duties and responsibilities is by no means exhaustive and the post holder may be required to undertake other relevant and appropriate duties as required
