Experience:
Bachelor`s/ Master’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, Graphic Design, Film and Television, Development Communication or a related field.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum one year of relevant demonstrated experience in communication, design and social media-related roles.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and digital content creation tools.
Utilize the latest AI-powered tools and technologies to enhance content creation, graphic design, visual storytelling, video production, and communication workflows.
Demonstrated skills in photography, videography, and basic video editing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bangla and English.
Willingness to travel frequently to field locations.
Willingness to provide flexible working support during events or time-sensitive assignments, as per organizational needs and mutual agreement.
Commitment to organizational values, safeguarding, gender equality, and confidentiality.
Solid Experience in desk-based research and synthesis of complex information.
Preferred Competencies
Knowledge of and experience in the development sector, with thematic familiarity in migration; climate change is preferable.
Creative thinking skills and the ability to work independently and deliver quality outputs within agreed timelines.

OKUP invites applications for the vacant position of Digital Communication & Social Campaign Officer at Dhaka Head Office.
Job Period: Six months
Major Responsibilities:
The Digital Communication & Social Campaign Officer (DCSCO) is responsible for the overall implementation of the communication, campaign and digital media related innovative ideas and activities. S/he will be directly responsible for content creation for different platforms, specially for the social media platform and website of OKUP.
Specific roles and Expected Deliverables are as follows:
Design and lead integrated digital social campaigns on rights of migrant workers, migration governance, climate adaptation, social protection, anti-human trafficking, and related thematic areas.
Develop campaign concepts, messaging frameworks, and content plans tailored for different audiences including migrants, survivor communities, policymakers, media, civil society, and development partners.
Create high-quality multimedia content including photo stories, shorts, infographics, reels, animations, podcasts, documentaries, videos, and other digital storytelling formats for diverse platforms.
Conduct photography and videography in field and program locations to capture real-life stories, events, and human-interest content for communication and campaigns.
Manage and regularly update OKUP’s digital platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and website content, ensuring consistency in branding, tone, and messaging.
Manage audience engagement and growth strategies across digital platforms, including content planning, community engagement, and targeted outreach campaigns.
Monitor online discussions, trends, and narratives related to migration, climate change, and social protection, and identify timely opportunities for communication and content response.
Track performance of campaigns and digital platforms using analytics tools and refine strategies based on data insights and audience behavior.
Prepare monthly/quarterly digital engagement reports with analysis, insights, lessons learned, and recommendations for improvement.
Maintain active liaison with media representatives and support media engagement, coverage, and dissemination of organizational stories and campaign messages.
Coordinate closely with program, research, and MEAL teams to ensure accurate, timely, and evidence-based communication outputs.
Ensure continuous improvement of OKUP’s digital presence through innovation, creative storytelling, and data-driven communication approaches.

As it is a contractual position for six months, other benefits will not be applicable
