Job Context:
∎ The Nutrition Site Supervisor working under the guidance of health and nutrition program Manager, is directly responsible for the day-to-day management and smooth implementation of CMAM programme and MIYCN practices. The position work in close collaboration with community health coordinator and reporting supervisor.
∎ Duty Station: Ukhiya (Kutupalon Refugee Camp- Camp 3)
∎ Report To: Health and Nutrition Program Manager
∎ Expected Start Date: 1st April 2022
∎ Contract length: Up to 31st December, 2022 (With possibility of Extension subject to funding, program needs and performance of incumbent)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
∎ Under the guidance of the Health and Nutrition Program Manager, the Nutrition Site Supervisor will be responsible for-
∎ Implement and supervise the OTP/TSFP/BSFP while following the stipulated protocols and guidelines.
∎ Supervise and strengthen routine and mass nutrition screening of children under 5years and PLW at the health and standalone nutrition sites to ensure timely detection and treatment of malnutrition,
∎ Timely review and verification of monthly nutrition reports at site before submission to disease surveillance and reporting supervisor (DR&RS).
∎ Train and mentor all staff working under his supervision in the nutrition facilities.
∎ Supervise the promotion of MIYCN activities from the facilities and the communities through the MIYCN counselors and the CNVs respectively, by individual and group counseling.
∎ Participate in annual nutrition surveys and assessments.
∎ Ensure all Nutrition sites have adequate supplies and monitor supply consumption.
∎ Participates in monthly inventory taking of nutrition supplies in main stores as well as sites
∎ Ensure effective linkage between health and nutrition programs.
∎ Ensure all nutrition sites have reporting tools - tally sheets, ration cards, treatment cards and registers respectively.
∎ Controlling consumption of the all-nutrition supplies and other medical items from the main warehouse.
∎ Support on campaigns like VASD and Mass MUAC screening.
∎ Representing the nutrition program in nutrition cluster meetings/Donors' monthly meetings when requested.
∎ Any other task assigned by the supervisor
∎ Health & Safety
∎ Comply with established health and safety policies with regard to handling of instruments, storage of drugs and disposal of sharps and other potentially dangerous equipment and substances. Comply with current NZ legislation.

∎ Two years' experience in nutrition work in OTP /TSFP / BSFP is an added advantage.
∎ Should be able to work under minimal supervision, hard situations with minimal resource.
∎ Should able to promote RI vision and mission including gender, child protection and PSEA.
Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh
