Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

∎ Current CPR certification.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assess patients' physical and emotional health status.
∎ Develop and implement patient care plans.
∎ Administer medications and treatments.
∎ Monitor patients' vital signs and progress.
∎ Provide patient education and support.
∎ Work with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care.
∎ Maintain patient records and documentation.
∎ Follow all applicable policies and procedures.
∎ Attend continuing education courses to maintain professional skills.
∎ Taking vital signs: This includes measuring the patient's temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure.
∎ Administering medications: Nurses administer medications to patients according to a doctor's orders. This may involve giving injections, pills, or liquids.
∎ Monitoring patients: Nurses closely monitor patients' health status and report any changes to the doctor. This may include checking vital signs, observing the patient's condition, and asking questions about their symptoms.
∎ Providing patient care: This includes bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting patients. Nurses also help patients with activities of daily living, such as walking and getting out of bed.
∎ Educating patients and their families: Nurses educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and how to care for themselves at home.
∎ Collaborating with other healthcare professionals: Nurses work closely with doctors, other nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible care for their patients.
∎ Documenting patient care: Nurses keep detailed records of all patient care activities. This documentation is important for tracking patient progress and providing continuity of care.
∎ Maintaining a safe environment: Nurses are responsible for maintaining a safe environment for their patients. This includes following infection control procedures, disposing of hazardous waste properly, and reporting any potential hazards.
∎ Providing emotional support to patients and their families
∎ Teaching patients about their health conditions

∎ Age 20 to 25 years
