Job Context:
∎ Report to: Front Office Manager or Accounting Department
∎ Position Summary:A night auditor is responsible for assisting guests with their overnight requests and balance accounts from the day shift. He will check in guests arriving at night, handle guest s and take reservations. The night auditor also reconciles all accounts, processes invoices and prepares paychecks. Essentially, a night auditor`s role is to provide excellence customer service to guests and keep the front desk and accounting operations running smoothly.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Greet guests upon arrival check them in and provide them with any information they need to enjoy their stay
∎ Process invoices, post checks to vendors and distribute employee checks
∎ Respond to guest complaints, requests and emergencies
∎ Reconcile all accounts in a timely manner
∎ Schedule guest wake-up calls and reservations for the following day
∎ Respond to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints as needed
∎ Answer phones and place reservations
∎ Posts room charges and taxes to guest accounts.
∎ Processes guest charges voucher and credit card vouchers.
∎ Post charges to the guest accounts that have not been posted or were incurred on the night audit shift.
∎ Transfer charges and deposits to master accounts.
∎ Checks to see that all charges are assigned to the appropriate departments.
∎ To verify that all transactions performed at the front desk are supported by documentary evidence and signatures as necessary and that they have been correctly posted and allocated in to PMS system.
∎ To Verify that all charges posted from the POS Software, SPA software had reached the correct guest folios and also not missing.
∎ To know the IDS soft ware.
∎ Prints up and files reservations for the next business day.
∎ verifies all account postings and balances.
∎ Verifies that room rates are correct and posts those rates to guest accounts.
∎ Monitors the current status of coupon, discount, and other promotional programs.
∎ Is able to function as a front desk agent especially in terms of check-in and check-out procedures.
∎ Tracks room revenues, occupancy percentages, and other front office statistics.
∎ Prepare a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities.
∎ Summarizes results of operations for management.
∎ Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy. Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information.
∎ Prepare of End of day procedure.
∎ Follow the End of day / Night audit Checklist (Must Read).
∎ Balance the day's charges, making corrections as necessary.
∎ Run end of day process in property management software PMS
∎ Understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.
∎ Knows how to operate PMS, typewriters, and other front office equipment's.
∎ Respond to guest needs, special requests and complaints and alert the appropriate manager as needed
∎ Perform nightly balancing of in-room video and long-distance telephone services
∎ Understand and knows how to perform check-in and check-out procedures.
∎ Any other tasks as and when required by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 40 years
∎ 2+ years' experience in customer service or hospitality and experience handling cash, accounting procedures, and general administrative tasks.
∎ Skills Required: Hotel Related
∎ Exceptional interpersonal skills to enhance the service standards throughout the operation.
∎ Excellent communication, guest service and time management skills.
∎ Detail oriented.
∎ Able to organize, plan ahead and manage workload.
∎ A team player and a self-starter, yet able to work independently within Hotel standards.
∎ Ability to work effectively in an innovative, fast-paced and multi-tasked environment.
∎ Knowledge of the hotel industry and the hotel boutique concept.
∎ Excellent computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office and use of the internet.
∎ Knowledge of Hotel Software or Property Management Systems like IDS, FIDELIO, OPERA, Portal etc.
∎ Fluent in English, both oral and written.
∎ Excellent financial/business decision making.
∎ Analytical skills and very well organized.
∎ Prerequisite:

∎ Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
∎ Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
∎ Have a good eye for detail.
∎ Strong leadership abilities and organizational skills.
