∎ Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and OSI layer.
∎ Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, and PPPoE Services.
∎ Strong grasp of Spanning Tree, VLAN, ACL, and Routing.
∎ Hands-on experience with Mikrotik Routers.
∎ Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst/ME/Nexus Switches.
∎ Hands-on experience with OLT and Access Points.
∎ Strong problem-solving mindset and teamwork skills.
∎ Valid CCNA certification.
∎ Valid MTCNA certification.
∎ Basic knowledge of Linux-based networking environments.
∎ Good to Have:
∎ Familiarity with Juniper MX Routers and Cisco IOS/IOS-XE/IOS-XR Routers.
∎ Basic understanding of Static and Dynamic Routing troubleshooting.
∎ Interest in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale infrastructure systems.
∎ Valid MTCRE certification.
∎ Minimum three years of experience in a similar role within an ISP/service provider or equivalent environment.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to actively listen, especially when problems arise.
∎ Team player who thrives under work pressure.
∎ Strong communication skills to convey technical issues to non-technical individuals.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure a smooth and transparent Internet experience for clients.
∎ Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot problems related to cabling, connectivity, and hardware, including replacement of faulty equipment.
∎ Log, follow up, and update customer complaints, system faults, and incidents in the trouble ticketing system.
∎ Follow up on customer interactions and ensure timely resolution.
∎ Attend complaints and queries made by customers via phone calls, emails, or other means.
∎ Monitor the network system using network monitoring tools and take immediate action in case of alerts or faults.
∎ Maintain checklists/templates for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.
∎ Provide remote and on-site technical support to clients.
∎ Perform installations and deployments of various solutions and services as per business needs.
∎ Open interface to contribute knowledge for the organization and promote knowledge sharing.
∎ Job Overview:
∎ We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Network Engineer with a solid foundation in networking concepts and hands-on experience with Cisco and Mikrotik devices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling network troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance to ensure seamless connectivity and optimal network performance. This role is the crucial point of contact between the customer and ISP operations. The engineer must work towards improving the quality of technical services by minimizing the incident response time. The individual will work in the Technology Division and report directly to the Manager, Network Support.
