Job Context:
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites applications from the potential Bangladeshi national for implementing a new Project (CODEC Integrated Farm Management Farmer Field School (IFM FFS) and Agro-forestry Activities Project to Strengthening Inclusive Development) funded by UNDP, which will focus on strengthen the capacity of the population in Cox’s Bazar (Teknaf, Ukhiya, Ramu) to shape and make decisions that impact on their lives.
∎ The main objectives of the project is;
∎ 1. To strengthen community land, resource and livelihood management.
∎ 2. To increase participation and influence to shape decision making.
∎ 3. To strengthen democratic governance with responsive institutions and effective services.
∎ The Expected outcome of this project is;
∎ 1. Agriculture productions increased and diversified in targeted communities; and
∎ 2. Agro forestry production increased sustainability.
∎ The Expected outcome of this project is;
∎ 1. Agriculture productions increased and diversified in targeted communities
∎ - Enhanced knowledge and skills of communities, farmers, farmer facilitators, local service providers and monitors on improved agriculture practices.
∎ - Market linkage and access to quality farming (including agro forestry) inputs enhanced.
∎ 2. Agro forestry production increased sustainability.
∎ - Improved knowledge and skills of community people on agro-forestry systems.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Implement reporting system and documentation as per project needs.
∎ Monthly data collection, analysis report and periodic monitoring report for the project;
∎ Ensure quality data to measuring impact of the project interventions through various approaches using both qualitative and quantitative process.
∎ Measuring sustainability and reporting of different project interventions.
∎ Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.
∎ Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 4 years experience as M&E Officer in the field of Monitoring & Evaluation S/he should be skilled in data collection, quality control, data management, analysis and reporting writing.
∎ Computer knowledge (MS word, excel, PowerPoint, email, internet etc.)
∎ Strong in English and capable to write quality report in English is necessary.
∎ Strong ability in problem solving and decision-making.
∎ Report writing skills both in English and bangle.
