Job Context:
∎ "Child Centered Climate Change Adaptation Project" in Bangladesh implemented by Community Participation and Development (CPD) in Dhaka City Corporation. The project is funded by Save the Children International. The implementing organizations CPD is seeking to fill the following positions for its Dhaka Office:
∎ Reports to : Project Coordinator
∎ Duration: Fixed term (2 month from June-July 2021)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Project Delivery: Contribute in the delivery of CCCCA project activities. This includes:
∎ Contribute to the development of project work plans e.g. Annual Work plan (AWP), Quarterly work plan, Monthly work plan collection from Field facilitator (FF) & compilation, share to PC, SCI MEAL officer and its effective implementation showing the variance.
∎ Activity distribution to FF, assist in implementation, follow-up and monitor the project activities at assigned geographical areas.
∎ Keep regular communication with PC, SCI M&E officer and Project Manager.
∎ Assist in Organizing and facilitate capacity building workshops/training for project staff on issues related to M&E Plan, Reporting etc.
∎ Support CCCCA Project staff in achieving project outcomes.
∎ Monitoring and Evaluation:
∎ Develop a Monitoring and Evaluation plan for the CCCCA project.
∎ Monitor all aspects of project implementation to facilitate the realization of the project goals and outcomes.
∎ Provide strategic leadership in the collection, documentation and sharing of best practices for improvements in CCCCA project implementation
∎ Provide timely and relevant analysis and recommendations to the project team to keep in track.
∎ Documentation and Reporting: Undertake regular monitoring of project activities to ensure that the project is providing input in timely, process is in right way, meeting planned outcomes that the match with impact. This includes:
∎ Provide regularly updated reports on the status of implementation against the project goals and objectives to the project management and the team
∎ Synthesize and analyze data for summery and thematic reports on M&E findings
∎ Ensure that project reports are developed and submitted in a timely manner
∎ Regular documentation and reporting of field activities
∎ Provide support to the Project coordinator, Monitoring Officer (SCI) in developing reports and facilitating timely implementation of project interventions.
∎ Generate reports as requested by the Monitoring Officer (SCI).
∎ Develop MIS of the CCCCA project and maintain all the project related documents, records and data ready to deliver as and when need.
∎ Capture and document best practices and lesson learnt.
∎ Provide in time monthly report, quarterly report and Yearly report to the Monitoring Officer (SCI).
∎ Follow up and feedback of project activities.
∎ Follow-up and monitor the project activities being implemented by Field facilitator.
∎ Keep regular communication with Field facilitator.
∎ Monthly field visits to the children club, caregiver group and project sites.
∎ Monthly project updates from respective areas.
∎ Ensure information is communicated effectively and accurately between CPD and Save the Children for the smooth implementation of the work plan

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 3 years' experience in M&E/ MEAL, preferably risk reduction/climate change adaptation/child protection related project.
∎ Sound knowledge on quantitative and qualitative data collection methods.
∎ Knowledge and capacity of documentation and publishing reader friendly documents
∎ Capacity of M&E related training facilitation.
∎ Ability and willingness to travel widely in project areas.
∎ Have valid driving License for driving motor bike.
∎ Good spoken, reading and writing skills in English & Bangla with the ability to produce quality analytical reports.
∎ Excellent knowledge of and skills in data analyzing computer software, including proven experience with Excel, MS Access and SPSS;
∎ Ability to work in a team with flexibility to undertake challenging task and adapt to different working conditions.
∎ Attitude to protect children in connection and to be non-discriminatory and gender sensitive.

Salary: Tk. 34939 (Monthly)
