Job Context:
∎ Plan International Bangladesh has launched a six-month project titled SCORE (Strengthening COVID-19 Response) that provides timely, relevant support to national and local priority COVID-19 response activities, with a particular focus on addressing the vulnerabilities faced by marginalized groups, especially women and girls, in selected district of Bangladesh. As the third wave of COVID-19 is expecting, the SCORE project adopts two inter-related strategies to achieve the ultimate outcome to reduce COVID-19 related mortality and morbidity of target populations, especially for those experiencing marginalization and/or vulnerability. The strategies are: 1) to support local level community response prevention and treatment activities, which build off existing community structures already supporting health and gender equality outcomes with a focus on those most vulnerable and hard-to-reach for COVID-19 prevention and; 2) to strengthen the capacity of both facility-based and community-based health services to prepare for, and respond to, COVID-19 and its related impacts. SCORE will be implemented in all 6 upazilas (Domar, Dimla, Jaldhaka, Kishoreganj, Saidpur and Sadar) under Nilphamari district in Rangpur Division of Bangladesh.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist will provide extensive supports for developing and implementing Monitoring & Evaluation Framework/strategy for the project including detailed M&E Plan and quantitative and qualitative tools, with a focus on health management information systems strengthening and incorporating COVID-19 issue in the reporting system.
∎ The position will provide technical support for developing Results Framework, PMERL, SAP, LF/LM, results-based M&E system, PMF, MIS, DIP, FD-7 and Downward accountability mechanism. Support SHOW II annual report and SCORE project M&E related all activities.
Additional Requirements:
∎ We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated individual with a Postgraduate Degree preferably in Population Sciences/Economics/Statistics or any other relevant subject from a reputed University. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in design, planning, monitoring, evaluation and research in international development organisation, preferably in Health Programme (MNCH/COVID-19). Experience and Proficiency in SPSS is mandatory. Knowledge of different development initiatives i.e. gender equity, child rights, child protection, COVID-19, SRHR, Govt. Health & FP system, SDG etc. will be an added advantage for this position.
Salary: Tk. 90000 - 100000 (Monthly)
