Job Context:
∎ CODEC is an inheritor of DANIDA and GoB derived from a couple of project interventions. CODEC has been evolving as a people-centered development organization since 1985. From the beginning of its development intervention CODEC started its activities only with the fisherfolk communities but over the period CODEC extended its working area countrywide.
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) is working in the field of Micro-Finance from the inception. CODEC is also implementing different Development projects in the field of Education, Livelihood support, Environment, Legal Service, Humanitarian Field, Advocacy, Health & Nutrition etc. The aim of CODEC is to provide support and assistance to the disadvantaged coastal communities in their day to day struggle.
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites applications for the following position from the potential Bangladeshi nationals for implementing an upcoming project in Mymensingh (Gouripur, Isshwargonj & Phulpur Upazila) subject to the availability of fund.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Having a Complete Understanding of Project's operation & management.
∎ Develop monitoring tools and techniques jointly with Donor, Project Management and HO Team.
∎ Implementation of monitoring system in the field; collect and ensure qualitative and quantitative data for MIS.
∎ Assisting project management to develop appropriate program process and assessment designs with indicators and data collection methods consistent with the qualitative and quantitative changes in terms of project goals & objectives.
∎ Develop an overall operational plan of the project under the guidance of Donor, Project Management and M&E HO team to meet the objectives of the program.
∎ Provide regular support to monitoring and documentation components.
∎ Prepare monthly monitoring report and send to project Management.
∎ Developed a monitoring system for project employees & implement for measuring impact through various approaches.
∎ Implement reporting system and documentation as per project needs.
∎ Ensure quality data to measuring impact of the project interventions through various approaches using both qualitative and quantitative process.
∎ Prepare monthly, Quarterly and Annual plan based on the overall plan.
∎ Prepare required report from Donor and send to PD/ Manager/ Coordinator.
∎ Contribute in developing MIS for implementing and measuring impact of the program.
∎ Design, Develop and assist on developing different training courses and training materials for the project relevant to monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
∎ Conduct/ Assist research/ survey on project as needed.
∎ Ensure data is accurate, reliable, timely, complete and precise.
∎ Monthly data collection, analysis, assist and data upload in web from the field to support periodic monitoring report for the project.
∎ Conduct orientation to various development partners, Ngo and government representatives and distinguished visitors on the project monitoring, evaluation and reporting as needed.
∎ Ensure Implementation of effective Monitoring system in the line with project strategy.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Computer (MS word, excel, PowerPoint, email, internet etc.) knowledge
∎ Capable to write quality report in English will be necessary
∎ Strong ability in problem solving and decision-making.
∎ Minimum 4 years experience in the related field (Monitoring)
Salary: Tk. 45000 (Monthly)
