Job Context:
∎ Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) is a national voluntary social welfare organization. JCF is going to implement Adolescents and Youth Education Support for Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals and Host Community Residents in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh project in partnership with Plan International Bangladesh. To ensure the quality implementation of the project, JCF is inviting applications to recruit project staff from qualified candidates.
∎ Duration of the Appointment initially: 01 (One year)
∎ Expected Starting Date: 01 August 2021
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the monitoring and ongoing review of the project Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP).
∎ Ensure that the PMP is updated as needed, with meaningful indicators and targets that communicate the impact of project activities. Provide ongoing analysis of project performance in order to identify key issues which require action by the Program Focal Person and to inform the development of communications materials.
∎ Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will be fully engaged in providing monitoring support to the project, preparing monthly, quarterly and Annual report, data analysis and innovative thinking with study.
∎ Develop monitoring indicators following the Log frame (design PMF tools) of the project.
∎ Prepare monitoring plan for throughout the year and perform accordingly.
∎ Establish the Research, Monitoring and Evaluation strategy and assist team to conduct all required survey in the project and do all the needful efforts for well-functioning of the project activities.
∎ Manage data and information on bimonthly targets and present comparative statement of the targets and achievements.
∎ Coordinate the regular review of progress towards achieving project result.
∎ Assist project management in identifying short comings, gap in the PP and budget and revising those according to the needs.
∎ Ensure accurate data collection, analysis and interpretations as well as preparing M&E reports.
∎ Document project experiences, good practices, case studies, and disseminate properly.
∎ Provide technical support to Technical Officer and similar staffs of the Sector as per needs.
∎ Carry out daily monitoring visits, focus group discussions, study circle, participatory assessments, key informant interviews etc. for information collection.
∎ Provide training and assistance to develop staff skills in participatory and qualitative design, monitoring approaches, to implement realistic monitoring plans that capture quantitative and qualitative data.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 30 years
∎ Minimum of 03 years of work experience within the field of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), MIS, reporting, data analysis, and research as Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer/MIS Officer/Research Officer of formal or Non-Formal education program.
∎ Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Bangla.
∎ Preference will be given to those who can speak the local language.
∎ Having a valid motorcycle driving license.
∎ Computer literacy as appropriate for progressive monitoring and evaluation activities specially Excel, SPSS, PowerPoint so on.
∎ Strong experience in results-based management and/monitoring and evaluation, and report writing skills.
∎ Understanding of development programs with special focus on education in emergency program.
∎ Team facilitation, mentoring and ability to work in a team.
∎ Conformity working with groups of Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nations, poor, marginalized and socially excluded people.
∎ Report writing skills.
Salary:
∎ Consolidated Tk. 50,000/- per month and other admissible benefits as per organizational policy as well as the project.
