Additional Requirements: - Must have working knowledge on Cash base intervention in humanitarian and development context.
- Academic qualifications and experience may be relaxed for experienced candidates.
- At least 3/5 years of relevant working experience in humanitarian response programs and emergency contexts·
- Sound knowledge of information management, database management, data operations, data analysis, and report generation.
- Knowledge of humanitarian and donor compliance and humanitarian response operation modalities is required·
- Excellent skills of facilitation, presentation, interpersonal communication skills, teamwork and networking·
- Preference will be given on knowledge of information technology and different application including Online Platform, like KOBO, Database and MS Office Packages experience·
Responsibilities & Context: Community Development Centre –CODEC is a leading development organization have been working in the coastal area of Bangladesh since 1985. CODEC Community Development Centre (CODEC) is implementing “Southeast Flood response” project in Noakhali district funded by WFP. At present CODEC is implementing ''Cash for Work’’ supported by WFP in Noakhali district.
The Project will initially run up to 15 May 2025.
Responsibilities:
- The MIS & Finance Officer will design and maintain all project internal and external databases and work with WFP formatted software.
- Responsible for Beneficiary information management and report preparation as per program needs.
- Oversee financial aspects of the project, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Responsible for monitoring all sort of financial expenditures according to budget of project.
- Update all financial books and records as per financial procedures following CODEC financial compliance.
- Preparation of voucher with necessary supporting and taking approval from respective authority before Payment & recording.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor project spending and budget adherence.
- Prepare financial forecasts and reports for project management and donors.
- PSEA: S/he should abide by the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC)’s six core principles on Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) policy. Ensure the safety of team members (in respect to Prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse - PSEA) from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program's goals on safeguarding implementation.
- Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
