∎ Relief International (RI) has been working in Bangladesh since 2004, implementing programs covering emergency response, health, economic opportunity, trafficking in persons, gender equality and youth empowerment. RI has been present in Cox’s Bazar since 2014 where it was implementing a trafficking in person’s project in Ukhiya and Teknaf supporting old caseload refugees as well as host communities prior to the large-scale influx. Since 2017, RI has scaled up its operations in Cox’s Bazar to support the emergency response by providing integrated, multi-sectoral programming for refugee and host communities, covering health services, child protection, SGBV. Relief International is currently implementing a large scale refugee response program in Cox`s Bazar in Bangladesh in collaboration with multiple partners including UNHCR.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct MH assessment of persons with critical mental health challenges.
∎ Provide specialized mental health care and non-drug treatment to survivors who present complicated mental health and psychological distress required by RI case management staff and RI hostel team.
∎ Conduct post assessment and evaluation after the MH intervention of the cases. Recommend measures which will ensure the well-being of the survivor.
∎ Conduct follow up of all MH cases in collaboration case management staff.
∎ Design and implement psychosocial activities for the children and adult residents of RI hostel.
∎ Closely collaborate with RI GBV Case Management Supervisors, CP Case Management Officers, GBV Coordinator, Case Management Coordinator, CP Coordinator and Safe House Officer.
∎ Ensure information of all cases is kept with utmost confidentiality.
∎ Ensure case information safety in whenever sharing with authorized third parties.
∎ Maintain all cases filing in secure system in line with DPISP.
∎ Design training materials for all training.
∎ Conduct pre-post assessment.
∎ Conduct mentorship and coaching for all PSS staff and volunteers.
∎ Lead and coordinate all mental health and PSS learning and reflection activities.
∎ Provide guidelines and any other necessary supports for integration of MHPSS in RI programs.
∎ Participate in program design to guide and support integration of MHPSS.
∎ Ensure monthly and other periodic reporting as requirement. Contribute information to GBVSS, MHPSS-WG, 5W, PWG, Donor and other needed under the RI data protection policies and other Information Sharing Protocol agreement.
∎ Coordinate & represent RI in interagency coordination groups e.g., MHPSS working group and other subgroups.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 18 years
∎ Minimum (02) two years of experience working with INGO/NGO in Cox’s Bazar on mental health programing (Experience in Humanitarian/Emergency/Refugee context is preferable).
∎ Good knowledge of and experience in using established inter-agency and Donor standards and guidelines in MHPSS
∎ Cultural awareness and sensitivity, prior experience in Rohingya camps is preferable.
∎ Strong background and skills in facilitating trainings, coaching and mentoring others
∎ Familiarity with CP minimum standard, GBV guiding principle, PSEA, Safeguarding and IASC MHPSS guideline
∎ Competency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel
∎ Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively in written and spoken English. Chittagonian speaking capacity will be an added value.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skill

∎ Flexibility to visit camp/field offices/centers frequently
∎ Excellent communication skill in Bengali and English. Fluency in Rohingya or Chittagonian dialect is an asset.
