Job Responsibilities:
∎ Strong leadership & problem solving skills, self-driven & proactive
∎ Strong understanding of garment / woven and sweater products
∎ Excellent planning abilities
∎ Excellent communication, inter-personal, negotiation and problem-solving skills
∎ Proactive and able to work independently and under pressure
∎ Strong sourcing skills
∎ Good managerial skills, give clear and precise instructions and guidelines to teams
∎ Capability of solving production problem
∎ Able to perform under pressure, result oriented
∎ Hands-on and roll-up-sleeve type of working style
∎ Must be aggressive with self-development
∎ Flexible, diligent, extremely organized and details-oriented
∎ Be responsible for meeting business objectives and KPIs through developing, supporting and executing sourcing strategies.
∎ Lead a team of merchandisers to complete tasks with calendar management.
∎ Manage and escalate upwards on quality and delivery issues resolution.
∎ Ensure via negotiation that ‘best’ terms including costing and margin etc.
∎ Plan and communicate with brands and suppliers to ensure the consistency in brand’s standards and guidelines.
∎ Be a market intelligent, keep abreast of changes, and share relevant information to Management.
∎ Provide training and development to team members on merchandising related activities.
∎ Oversee all aspects of Production Cycle, able to manage complexity.
∎ Execute merchandising processes and procedures, and to ensure that all products are developed/sourced in a socially compliant environment.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 10 years woven and sweater garment merchandising experience, of which minimum 5 years in the management position
∎ With MNC Buying Office experience preferred
∎ Excellent communication skills and good command of spoken and written English, plus proficiency in one Asian language
Salary: Tk. 300000 (Monthly)
