Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Skill in Costing, Merchandising and having technical knowledge of Knit fabric & garments.
∎ Skill in communication to handle several numbers of clients/orders/styles at a time.
∎ Achievement of Customer satisfaction, proper production planning to achieve the targeted production and on time shipping the goods.
∎ Regular Interacting with the buyers directly for any clarifications, managing all samples & getting all required approvals within the target date.
∎ Work closely with production team to ensure the customer requirements are properly interpreted and executed
∎ Prepare and follow up of Time & Action plan (TNA) to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials to the production.
∎ Vast knowledge in costing & pricing of the garment and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
∎ Determine appropriate price quotations to ensure sales orders and maintain profitability
∎ Monitoring the status of approval / per-production / photo samples/delivery.
∎ Should have sound knowledge in Knit products, fabrics, accessories, trims, etc.
∎ On order placement take over all merchandising requirements which in turn to be handed over to PKCL Production/ Operations for execution.
∎ Lead the team/act as an effective team member understanding company & buyer COC.
∎ Effective follow-up on materials inventory, production process, quality standards & team performance
∎ Should have sound knowledge in Knit products, fabrics, accessories, trims, etc.
∎ Follow up sampling, development & production in all stages.
∎ To develop the sample, get the new buyer on board and coordinate with designer.
∎ To do the Pre-costing and post costing of the product.
∎ Responsible for overall merchandising activities to run the Company.
∎ To deal with the Buyer independently for all the marketing & merchandising activities including price quoting, negotiation and sourcing.
∎ Work closely with QA/ QC to ensure best product.
∎ Review Production Files.
