Responsibilities & Context:
∎ If you do not have experience with denim products, please do not apply. If you have experience in Denim and Woven products and are ready to take on extraordinary challenges, the following responsibilities are for you. Go, grab and prove yourself!
∎ Capable of handling buyer accounts independently.
∎ Ensure smooth communications with customers and suppliers regarding day-to-day merchandising activities and approvals.
∎ Independently execute Denim & Non-Denim product development.
∎ Understand customer requirements and work closely with the design/technical team to manage quality samples within the time frame.
∎ Arrange lab dip, trims, bulk fabric color, and quality test for customer approval.
∎ Prepare costing sheets with all the necessary breakdowns.
∎ Must visit factories in Ashulia, Savar and Gazipur areas and ensure on-time production to meet the ultimate shipment deadline.
∎ Must have the ability to offer prices by doing on-spot costing.
∎ Must have the ability to negotiate prices, speak fluent English and write emails.
∎ Must have the ability to do order projection, T&A and budget planning.
∎ Must have detailed knowledge and experience about capacity planning, production planning and critical path.
∎ Must have detailed knowledge and experience about the wash process of denim products.
∎ Candidates with experience in the brand's liaison office, multinational buying or factory will be given preference.
∎ Candidates working with Zara, Splash, DNM, MAX, Bestseller and Sainsbury brands will be given preference.
