In these circumstances, we are looking for an energetic candidate, has a professionally goal-oriented mindset and well-mannered. The major Responsibilities of the candidate will be:-
Buyer Communication
Maintain regular communication with international buyers to understand product requirements, specifications, and quality standards.
Handle buyer queries related to samples, pricing, lead time, order status, and approvals.
Coordinate the development and approval of samples (proto, fit, PP, size set, TOP).
Update buyers on production progress and promptly address any issues or delays.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships to ensure repeat business.
2. Costing & Price Negotiation
Prepare detailed garment costing sheets covering fabric, trims, accessories, CM, printing, washing, and overheads.
Analyze consumption, material prices, and labor costs to ensure competitive yet profitable pricing.
Negotiate cost and price with buyers to secure orders with optimal margins.
Work closely with the commercial and finance teams on L/C requirements, payment terms, and costing accuracy.
3. Supplier & Factory Communication
Liaise with suppliers for fabric, trims, accessories, and other raw materials to ensure timely sourcing.
Request and verify lab dips, strike-offs, bulk fabric quality, and sample approvals from suppliers.
Monitor supplier performance in terms of delivery, quality, and compliance.
Coordinate internally with planning, production, quality control, sewing, cutting, printing, and finishing teams for smooth order execution.
Follow up with factories to ensure production timelines and quality standards are met.
4. Product Development
Collaborate with buyers to understand design inspirations, technical requirements, and fabric choices.
Work with the product development team to create new styles, improve existing products, and develop cost-effective solutions.
Oversee prototype creation, fit corrections, and design adjustments to meet buyer expectations.
Research market trends, competitive products, and new materials to support innovation.
5. Order Management & Execution
Create time and action (T&A) calendars and ensure strict adherence to deadlines.
Manage order confirmation, documentation, approvals, and production follow-up.
Resolve issues related to raw materials, trims, delays, or quality defects.
Ensure on-time shipment by coordinating logistics, packaging, inspection, and documentation.
