Creative mindset with knowledge of garment construction
Responsibilities & Context:
Research fashion trends, colors, fabrics and market demands
Develop new design concepts and seasonal collections
Create mood board, sketches, technical drawings and design specifications
Collaborate with merchandising, pattern, and sampling teams
Monitor sample development, fittings and approvals
Ensure on-time submission to buyers
Source and develop fabrics, trims and new techniques
Organize and maintain the fabric and trim library, ensuring all physical and digital swatches are up to date
Prepare buyer presentations and manage showroom display
Organize digital product presentations and development records
