Additional Requirements

• Age 28 to 45 years

Experience:

• Minimum 7–10 years of practical experience in garment manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

Technical Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of production follow up from the beginning to finishing.

• Knowledge of raw materials used in apparel production, including all kinds of knit, woven fabric.

Skills:

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PPT, and production tracking software.

• Good communication skills in both English and Bangla. 

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• On-time shipment completion rate.

• Defect rate and rejection percentage within acceptable limits.

• Increase in production efficiency and line productivity.

• Reduction in material wastage and production downtime.

• Buyer audit and compliance scores.

Responsibilities & Context

Job Summary: The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process of garment accessories such as labels, hangtags, Price tags, poly bags, Hanger, Label sticker Paper, trims, and packaging items. The role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising production teams to meet buyer requirements, maintain quality standards, and achieve on-time delivery while controlling costs and ensuring compliance with safety and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate and implement Time & Action (TNA) plans with factory merchants based on shipment dates.

• Coordinate with factories to ensure timely in-housing of fabrics, yarns, trims, and accessories.

• Monitor Workflow progress with factory, QM/QC, and merchandisers to secure on-time shipment.

• Ensure smooth coordination between merchandising, planning, procurement, and quality control teams.

• Forecast production requirements based on buyer orders and shipment deadlines.

• Troubleshoot operational issues in real-time to avoid shipment delays.

• Monitor performance and reward productivity and accountability.

• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production targets.

• Maintain proper documentation for buyer audits and compliance checks.

• Ensure accurate data entry in company systems or production tracking software.
