• Diploma in Medical Technology

• At least 3 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): NGO, Hospital, Diagnostic Centre, Clinic

• Age At most 35 years

• 3 years Diploma in Medical Technology from any GOB approved recognized Institution
• At least 3 years’ experience in similar position with any Diagnostic Center / Private. Clinic or hospital.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Record keeping and documentation skills. 
• Familiar with operating clinical software and excellent computer skills in MS Office application suite.

• The Medical Technologist (Lab) is responsible for performing all sorts of laboratory tests of the Clinic following the guideline / Standard Operation Procedures (SOP).

• Ensure lab safety by taking all required precautions to prevent spread of infection at the testing site.

• Ensure that all blood samples have the clients’ code number corresponding to the number in the client’s file and on the client’s card.

• Ensure to maintain all labs registers including test results as per approved guideline and to keep laboratory form in the client folder.

• Ensure that continuous supplies of all necessary test kits within the expiry period are available to the service.

• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and test results, safeguard the dignity and privacy of patients.

• Implement lab quality system approach for internal quality assurances/control in lab and testing process and support external quality control for testing.

• Prepare daily /monthly consumption report and update all required information, necessary documents and other required supplies.

• Collect samples from home as requested by the client and ensure delivery of report in time.
