∎ Currently RDRS Bangladesh is inviting applications to fill the position of Medical Officer under RDRS Comprehensive Development Program for its Eye Care center, Lalmonirhat.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Clinical Tasks: Consult Eye patients, perform minor eye operations and supervise Ophthalmic Health Assistant, Rfrectionist, OT Assistant and other relevant staff members.
∎ Field Implementation: Organize eye camp for screening cataract and other eye diseases.
∎ Screen school children for refractive error correction.
∎ Organize education session on eye conditions and eye health.
∎ Monitoring & Reporting: To monitor and review project and project implementation in the field, working closely with Project Coordinator
∎ Medical Officer will also be responsible to perform other functions (not listed above) as may be required and assigned to him/her by the management of RDRS.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Sound knowledge on Eye health related issues;
∎ Efficient to communicate with rural people;
∎ Excellent computer skills (MS word, Excel, Power point);
∎ Abillity to work independently and in a team.
Salary: Tk. 40000 (Monthly)
