The Hospital has departments of Obs-gynae, Paediatrics, Medicine, Surgery, Dermatology, Palliative Care, Dental Unit, Nursing and a Rehabilitation Centre for Children with Disability.
Job Summary: Work within a team caring for in-patients and out-patients, including on-call cover. While working at LAMB, MO’s also have the opportunity:
To learn to practice evidence-based medicine with effective supportive supervision by senior doctors and comprehensive guidelines
To participate in clinical audit projects
To teach in LAMB Training Centre and Nursing Institute.
Starting level (Basic skills)
Clerking patients
Make a Diagnosis and Management Plan,
Basic recording skills: write IP and OP note
Presents patient summaries clearly in handover
Uses guidelines and follows protocols
