Job Context:
∎ LEDARS is NGO Affairs Bureau affiliated NGO working in the southwest coastal region of Bangladesh since 1998. The southwest coastal region is one of the most climate vulnerable areas of the country for which people are suffering severely. In this context, LEDARS is implementing a program entitled `Strengthening Livelihood Security of Climate Change Vulnerable People` in southern part of Satkhira and Khulna district with financial support of German based donor agency. LEDARS is going to hire a Medical Assistant for this project. It is the mid-level position and will be key person for medical operation. Following are the major job requirements of this post.
∎ Job Location : Shyamnagar, Satkhira
∎ Duration : Long term ongoing project.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for developing and maintaining in the medical camp center
∎ Ensuring the highest standards in patient care and treatment
∎ Verifying complex diagnoses and facilitating treatment plans
∎ Managing allocated budgets and identifying areas of improvement in medical camp center.
∎ Performing administrative duties and risk management as per requirement
∎ Support to organize special gynological health camp
∎ Ensuring compliance with healthcare rules, regulations and safety measurement
∎ Reporting to senior management as well as liaising between administrative and marketing staff.
∎ Ensuring consistent and accurate medical recordkeeping practices.
∎ Manage all aspects related to patient care within their departments
∎ Investigate problems which may arise and address as per need
∎ Evaluate medical records and reports and advice physicians and other healthcare specialists.
∎ Create, maintain and preserve patient health records.
∎ Perform periodical physical exams, diagnose to treat illnesses, and provide follow-up care.
∎ Provide online offline medical consultancy (telemedicine: the remote diagnosis and treatment of patients by means of telecommunications technology.)
∎ Organize and supports for medical campaign inside and outside if required
∎ Initiate and supports to organize medical research programs.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Candidate who has experience in medical camp management and operation.
∎ Working experience in coastal area will get special priority.
∎ Able to travel and work in remote rural area and drive motor bike.
∎ Good knowledge on computer operation including MS Office and internet browsing,
∎ Good inter-personal skill and clear knowledge on climate change, adaptation, mitigation, PWD, environment conservation, etc.
∎ Knowledge on IEC materials development.
∎ Good command in Bangla and English.

Salary: Tk. 24446 - 25323 (Monthly)
