Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Nursing/ Paramedics/ Medical Assistant/ MATS from an accredited academic institution or hospital; recognized & registered by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Reporting to: Medical Officer/ Medical in Charge
∎ Department: Health
∎ Expected Start Date: ASAP
∎ Contract length: Up to December 31, 2020.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct physical examinations to the patients as required
∎ Ensure proper infection prevention procedure is maintained.
∎ Write medical prescriptions are properly written with history and present conditions
∎ Ensure proper drugs provision and the communicate instructions with the patients so they can understand treatment regimen
∎ Provide general health services to the patients
∎ Ensure clinical set up are well organized and clean
∎ Ensure that the medicines are kept in the store in a proper way having proper ventilation
∎ Maintain medicine stock register and provide medicine to patients, ensure all patients have appropriate medicine.
∎ Submit monthly report about the clinical clients to RI Medical in charge and Disease Surveillance Officers
∎ Maintain confidentiality and security of client information at all times
∎ Ensure the proper application of all monitoring tools use for monitoring clinical activities
∎ Ensure confidentiality is maintained for all clients
∎ Fill out the drug register regularly and review drug stock
∎ IPC Management
∎ Ensure proper donning and doffing of PPE items.
∎ Monitor triage, early recognition and source control
∎ Supervise instrument processing
∎ Monitor waste management in the hospital.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Previous experience in international organization is an advantage. Knowledge and experience with working in the field of refugee health care will be added as advantage.
∎ Effectively applies knowledge on clinical skills, bedside manner, infection control, administering medication, phlebotomy, maintenance etc.
∎ Adequate practical knowledge on handling child delivery and its complications.
∎ Works effectively with local authorities, stakeholders, and beneficiaries.
Salary:
∎ As per RI National Pay Scale Policy in Bangladesh
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Mobile bill, Medical allowance, Weekly 2 holidays
∎ Salary Review: Yearly
∎ Two festival bonuses in a year equivalent to one basic salary.
∎ Severance (8.33% of the monthly basic salary) goes with the monthly release of the salary.
