Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Working Experience with Japanese general contractor companies is preferable.
Proven experience in mechanical design, AutoCAD drafting, and shop drawing preparation.
Strong knowledge of 2D and isometric drawings.Excellent coordination and team management skills.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical projects (HVAC, generator, substation, or related fields) within the construction industry.
Responsibilities & Context:
Prepare, review, and finalize AutoCAD designs and shop drawings.
Develop and interpret 2D and isometric (ISO metric) drawings.
Perform cooling load and BOQ calculations.
Maintain project documentation, including design reports, site progress, and quality records.
Supervise fabrication, installation, and mechanical works according to approved drawings.
Manage and supervise team members to ensure productivity and quality.
Provide technical guidance and resolve site-related design issues.
Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.
Design and implement fire protection systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and safety guidelines.
Lead coordination with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure design compliance and timely execution.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (designers, contractors, and project managers) on mechanical design solutions.
Liaise with suppliers to procure mechanical components, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
Oversee project execution to ensure timely completion.
Any other project-related task assigned by management.
