Responsibilities & Context:
- Maintain a comprehensive work schedule to ensure adequate resources, equipment, and people, are in place to meet operational needs.·
- Review and check all assigned project electrical installation drawings for compliance with all company and project instructions (One-line diagrams, electrical equipment location drawings, plan drawings, details, schematics, wiring diagrams, etc.) of technical vendor submittals for installation requirements.·
- Proper Coordination with Consultant, Client or Engineering Team for related design & support to execute the plan.
- Assist senior engineers in the design, development, and documentation of electrical systems for commercial, institutional, or industrial buildings.
- Perform electrical calculations to determine load requirements, voltage drops, and equipment sizing.
- Select appropriate electrical equipment and materials based on project requirements and building codes.
- Create electrical SHOP drawing (layouts, lighting plans, and power distribution schematics) using by Auto CAD 2D, 3D software.
- Review and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) from contractors regarding electrical systems.
- Participate in project coordination meetings with architects, mechanical engineers, and other disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations and construction practices such as the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Keep proper documentation of all installation reports, testing & commissioning reports, equipment data, and all technical data for the electrical system.
- Strong knowledge of safety requirements and maintain high safety standards
