Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineer to oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of production machinery in a plastic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in industrial machinery, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of production machinery and equipment.

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults to minimize production downtime.

• Plan and execute maintenance schedules for all plant machinery and utilities.

• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• Coordinate with the production team to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

• Supervise the installation, commissioning, and modification of new machinery and equipment.

• Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and spare parts inventory.

• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health, and environmental regulations.

• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce maintenance costs and improve equipment reliability.

• Train machine operators on proper equipment handling and basic maintenance practices.
