Job Context:
∎ Job Context: Social Assistance and Rehabilitation for the Physically Vulnerable (SARPV) is a non- government, non-political, Bangladeshi organization providing humanitarian support to the Rohingya people at Bhasan Char. As part of its Health & Nutrition interventions in support with WFP & UNHCR, SARPV is going to implement "Integrated nutrition intervention for Rohingya refugees living in Bhasan Char" project from 1st September 2022.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Job Responsibilities:
∎ Overall Objective:
∎ The position is responsible for taking and documenting anthropometric measurements in the Integrated Nutrition Facility.
∎ Key Job Responsibilities:
∎ Full anthropometric measurement of U5 children & PLW at the center
∎ Warm welcome to the beneficiaries and their caregivers in the center.
∎ To explain the caregivers why proper measurements of their children is important.
∎ Make sure that all the measurement tools are available and adequate in the center.
∎ Calibration of measurements instruments on daily basis
∎ Taking anthropometric measurement of all under 5 children (height, weight, MUAC, bilateral edema and W/H z-score) and PLW (height, weight and MUAC) according to the protocol.
∎ Record all the basic information and measurement data of the beneficiaries in their respective beneficiary cards.
∎ B) Follow up visit of beneficiaries at the center
∎ Record all the anthropometric measurements of the beneficiaries during follow up visit in the respective beneficiary cards.
∎ Check with outreach volunteers whether the referred beneficiaries come to the center.
∎ Cross-check the measurements of the outreach volunteers.
∎ C) Assist the nutrition staffs in the required tasks
∎ Assist the nurse in TSFP and OTP
∎ Assist the registrars during registration process in BSFP.
∎ Assist the registrar during registration process of BSFP and TSFP PLWs.
∎ Assist the OS and OVs in following up of u-5 children and PLW referral.
∎ Assist the GMP Counselor
∎ Participate in the mobilization at center level.
∎ Complete the registration process in absence of the Registrar
∎ Performed program related task assigned by the line manager.
∎ D) Hygiene and Maintenance
∎ To maintain hygiene and cleanliness during measurement
∎ To preserve the equipment used for measurement
∎ To maintain a healthy environment at measurement section
∎ E) Reporting
∎ Provide necessary daily, weekly and monthly reports
∎ F) Abiding by organizational and donor policies and humanitarian principles
∎ The position is expected to uphold the values of SARPV
∎ He/she must learn about the donor policies and abide by it.
∎ Humanitarian Principles must be upheld in daily implementation.
∎ Implement all work-related activities with a gender, disability and child protection lens, taking into account the different needs, concerns and ideas of the SARPV's staff and beneficiaries
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year's professional experience in CMAM preferred.
∎ Ability to work flexibly including weekends and willingness to travel and work in remote island area and live in basic conditions.
∎ Good communication and presentation skills
∎ Language: Must be proficient in English and Bangla in both writing and speaking
Salary: Negotiable

∎ Two days weekly holiday ( Friday & Saturday)
