Experience:
Practical work experience in WASH sectors with WASH focusing with humanitarian Approaches.
Medium in English (written/verbal).
Team management- Ability to work under limited supervision - Dynamism - Good report writing ability - Computer skills.
Sound knowledge on using different software related to data entry, analysis, report writing and preparing presentation etc.
Hard working, work under pressure in humanitarian response context, positive and can-do attitude.
Work experience in Cox's Bazar is preferable.
Fluency in English and Bangla.
Knowledge of Rohingya/Chittagonian dialect is an asset.
The proposed position of MEAL Manager is critical to fulfilling the operational and to expedite the implementation of the newly awarded DFAT-IRC-supported WASH project, ensuring timely implementation, accountability, and achievement of the project’s intended outcomes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead the overall Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, Learning (MEAL), reporting, and documentation functions of the project, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and organizational standards.
Develop and implement the project MEAL framework, monitoring plans, reporting systems, and documentation mechanisms to ensure effective tracking of project performance and results.
Prepare monitoring plans and coordinate monitoring activities to ensure quality implementation and timely achievement of project outputs, outcomes, and targets.
Develop, review, and maintain the project’s indicator-wise Logical Framework (Logframe), Performance Measurement Framework (PMF), Indicator Tracking Table (ITT), and monitoring matrices.
Design and develop quantitative and qualitative monitoring tools, assessment tools, data collection forms, checklists, and reporting templates required for project implementation.
Establish and manage computer-based monitoring and information management systems for tracking project activities, outputs, indicators, and performance milestones.
Maintain and regularly update project databases and Management Information Systems (MIS) to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely information management.
Develop and manage interactive dashboards, progress tracking systems, and data visualization tools to support project monitoring, management decision-making, and donor reporting.
Conduct regular field monitoring visits, spot checks, data verification exercises, and quality assurance reviews to assess implementation progress and compliance with project standards.
Ensure systematic process documentation, progress documentation, lessons learned documentation, and evidence generation as required by the project and donor.
Prepare success stories, case studies, human-interest stories, best practices, lessons learned, and knowledge products from project interventions.
Support the Programme Manager and WASH Technical Manager in project performance analysis, work plan tracking, activity progress monitoring, and evidence-based decision-making.
Assist project management in identifying implementation bottlenecks, underperforming indicators, budget variances, and operational risks, and provide analytical recommendations for corrective actions.
Contribute to the preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual, and donor reports through data analysis, indicator verification, and results reporting.
Facilitate project reviews, reflection sessions, learning events, evaluations, surveys, and assessments to promote adaptive management and organizational learning.
Coordinate with technical, operations, finance, and program teams to ensure timely collection, verification, and reporting of project information.
