Job Context:
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) is working in the coastal area of Bangladesh since 1985. Its core activities are the socio-economic development of coastal people which is operated through seven thematic areas as Agriculture, Fishery, Dairy and Horticulture; Education, Skills and Youth Development; Conflict Resolution; Climate Change and Disaster; Health and Nutrition; Social Entrepreneurship; Microfinance and Rohingya Education, Protection and Repatriation.
∎ Community Development Centre (CODEC) is going to implement an upcoming Project in context of General Food Assistance Program (GFA) depending on the availability of fund from Donor. The overall objectives, Outcome and Output of the project are;
∎ Objectives:
∎ To improve nutritional status and enhance food security of 89732 Rohingya Refugees of 2 outlets in 3 camps.
∎ To enhance access to food during all emergency situations
∎ To improve market linkages and social cohesion between refugees and host communities’ small- scale farmers, aggregators and retailers.
∎ Outcome:
∎ Increased food security, Save life, Reduced malnutrition and to end hunger.
∎ Output:
∎ The most vulnerable households in refugee camps and makeshift camps in Cox’s Bazar received general food assistance through e-vouchers based on needs.
∎ Improved Market Linkages and social cohesion between refugees and host communities’ small- scale farmers, aggregators and retailers.
∎ Enhanced access to food during emergency as part of Rapid Response (in-kind and hot meals).

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure the commodities are in place and records are documented during the distribution.
∎ Keep update the rate of commodity in each day before transaction and give update to supervisor.
∎ Record the information through electronic device and with appropriate format supplied by Donor and back to concern.
∎ Check frequently the weight of received commodity by beneficiaries from retailers and record for further action.
∎ Check frequently with beneficiaries about their satisfaction level about the distribution process and receive feedback from them.
∎ Ensure the retailers are behaving well with the beneficiaries and if any observation is there on it then report in proper channel.
∎ Receive any complain in the distribution point and forward it to appropriate concern.
∎ Check the absent beneficiaries at camp level reported by Field Mobilizers.
∎ Conduct post distribution monitoring and FGD with beneficiaries to assess their satisfaction and feedback to improve the program.
∎ Oversee the total chain of arrival of food assistances, the conditions of assistances in the distribution point, environment of the point.
∎ Carry out the responsibilities and necessary tools assigned by the M&E Senior officer.
∎ Review the beneficiary list with the distribution list independently.
∎ Suggest the outlet Supervisor and MIS officers on basis of findings and advice how to improve distribution process further.
∎ Assist to maintain queue of beneficiaries and manage if there are any complaints from beneficiaries.
∎ Ensure distributions of token are in staggered way and at HHs level and follow up the distribution at camp level.
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply

Salary: Tk. 45000 (Monthly)
