∎ There is a vacancy for the following contractual position based at Nilphamari District for the SHOW Project funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and through Plan International.
∎ Job Summary: Monitoring and evaluaton of the data quality of program activities. Develop different kinds of documentation; case studies, reports, best practices, lessons learnt, news-letter and other advocacy materials as per project requirements. Maintain electronic documentation systems for the project at implementation organizational level. Assist in maintaining a strong liaison with the Government department, local media and other project related stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ 1. Monitors progress towards indicators in SHOW project community target areas using appropriate methods.
∎ 2. Monitors the quality of SHOW data:
∎ a. Does sample checks on SHOW data in all community target areas to ensure accuracy.
∎ b. Identify MIS-R training needs of project staff.
∎ 3. Coordinate implementation of M&E activities and assist to the project staff;
∎ 4. Monitoring and follow-up of field activities on a regular basis and provide feedback to the management through data compilation, management, and analysis
∎ 5. Coordinate/facilitate survey and study; report generation and documentation. Conduct Survey and Data entry. group Session Monitoring
∎ 6. Assist in the integration of SHOW MIS data into LAMB data.
∎ 7. Follow-up MIS related information of CHW’s for activities like: UH&DRRC formation, Self-help group, youth volunteers formation.
∎ 8. Support CHW’s cum PWR and Field Facilitator do cross checks to ensure quality data collection.
∎ 9. Maintain project information chronologically as per project/organization/donor requirement.
∎ 10. Any other MIS-R and project related task assigned by line manager.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 40 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 3 years experience on database work, information systems or public health or journalism & mass communication will be preferred. Experience in health & development, information management, media communication (print/ electronic) will be preferred. Skill in report writing, case study and photography are essential. Full Valid motorcycle driving license is required.
Salary:
∎ Around Tk. 23,700/- per month gross.
