Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum a Bachelor's degree Or H.S.C with a diploma in Culinary Arts

Experience Requirements:
∎ 5 to 7 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Specific responsibilities are included but not are limited to the following:
∎ Design food menus, create signature recipes, and train chefs on how to prepare and plate dishes
∎ Planning the menu, keeping in mind budget, and availability of seasonal ingredients.
∎ Creating new recipes to keep the menu fresh keeping up to date with industry trends.
∎ Monitor the quality and quantity of food items to ensure that standards are met.
∎ Instruct and coordinate activities of kitchen-workers in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, or presentation of food according to recipes & quality standards
∎ Overseeing all kitchen operations.
∎ Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, coaching & overall management of kitchen staffs; serve as a role model.
∎ Demonstrate new cooking techniques or equipment to staff.
∎ Determine production schedules and staff requirements necessary to ensure timely delivery of services.
∎ Analyze recipes to assign prices to menu items, based on food, labor, and overhead costs.
∎ Coordinate planning, budgeting, or purchasing for all the kitchen operations and take budget into account when creating menus, ordering food, and hiring new back-of-house employees.
∎ Enforcing safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
∎ Inspect quantity and quality of supplies, equipment, or work areas to ensure conformance to established standards.
∎ Order or requisition food or other supplies or repairs needed to ensure efficient operation.
∎ Record production or operational data on specified forms.
∎ Supervise food storage, food handling, and kitchen operations to ensure food is fresh.
∎ Taking stock of ingredients and equipment.
