Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Education and Experience:
∎ A relevant degree (e.g., Bsc in Textile Engineering, is often preferred.One or two years of experience in particularly in the textile industry, are typically required.
∎ Technical Knowledge:
∎ A thorough understanding of denim washing and garment dyeing processes and the chemicals used in those processes is essential.
∎ Sales Skills:
∎ Exceptional sales and negotiation skills are necessary to build and maintain client relationships, manage client proposals, and effectively demonstrate and train clients on product features.
∎ Communication Skills:
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial for interacting with clients, presenting product information, and building rapport.
∎ Client Management:
∎ Ability to manage client accounts, track sales data, and maintain client records.
∎ Organizational Skills:
∎ Good organizational and time management skills are needed to manage a sales territory effectively and prioritize tasks.
∎ Problem-solving:
∎ An analytical mind and problem-solving skills are important for handling customer concerns and providing solutions.
∎ Software Proficiency:
∎ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software is expected.
∎ Industry Knowledge:
∎ Staying up-to-date with industry trends, participating in sales educational events, and attending industry seminars are important.
