Job Context:
∎ CCDB Climate Centre is a regional knowledge hub to strengthen climate-resilient low carbon sustainable development in Bangladesh. The Centre aims to mainstream transformative community-led adaptation and climate risk reduction through accelerating innovation, capacity development and knowledge dissemination.
∎ Job Summary: As a Marketing and Communication Officer at CCDB Climate Centre, the primary role is to drive effective communication and marketing strategies. The person will be responsible for content development, photography, videography, stakeholder engagement and promotional campaigns. Additionally, he will manage queries, support budget planning, analyze outreach efforts, and foster media relationships. He will also play a crucial role in outreach visits, lead generation, sales campaign planning and operational support, demonstrating negotiation skills with both customers and suppliers.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Content Development: Develop a variety of content, including static images, dynamic posts, videos, reels, stories, articles, learning tools, etc., for CCDB Climate Centre social media platforms and web portal by using different image, graphics, and video editing software (preference Adobe Suite).
∎ Photography and videography: capture high-quality photographs and video footage, including drone footage, of the CCDB Climate Centre's regular events, workshops, training sessions, seminars, and other activities.
∎ Stakeholder engagement and documentation: manage interactions with stakeholders, follow up on commitments, and maintain a well-organized archive of documentation related to CCDB Climate Centre activities.
∎ Promotional tools and campaigns: Collaborate in the planning, design, and development of different promotional tools like newsletters, IEC materials, banners, flyers, brochures, display boards, information sheets, fact sheets, etc., and in the coordination of promotional campaigns for the CCDB Climate Centre.
∎ Query management: Ensure the presence of accurate and comprehensive queries on both CCDB Climate Centre social media platforms, the web portal, and the Call Centre, following established standards, and resolve them as soon as possible to the satisfaction of clients.
∎ Budget and planning support: Assist in the development of an annual communication plan, including budgeting for communication-related activities.
∎ Reporting and outreach analysis: analyze the effectiveness of our communication outreach efforts and prepare documentation and reports to track our progress. Establish and maintain effective relationships with journalists for mass media dissemination like press conferences, releases, newspaper articles, TV programs, and news.
∎ Regularly conduct visits to INGOs, NGOs, Government and private educational institutions (schools, colleges and universities), private sector etc. for promotional and marketing.
∎ Initiates lead generation activities and engages in cold calling to reach potential customers.
∎ Collaborates in the planning of sales campaigns to drive business growth.
∎ Assisting effectively handles and supports the operational aspects of secured business, proposal generation, composing corporate rate application letters, contract drafting and customer correspondence.
∎ Competently negotiates pricing terms with customers and in certain instances with suppliers.
∎ Any task assigned by management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 35 years
∎ Must be minimum 02 years' experience in Sales & Marketing
∎ Experience on implement marketing strategies.
∎ Promote the hotel's/resort/educational knowledge hub brand, increase awareness and drive revenues.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
∎ Cultural sensitivity and awareness.
∎ Problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure

Salary: Tk. 25000 - 30000 (Monthly)
