Additional Requirements:

Proven experience as a Marine Engineer in a reputed organization.

Strong technical knowledge of Yanmar, Mercury, MAN, and similar marine engines, along with O&M Certification, will add value.

Experience working on different types and sizes of vessels, including yachts, speedboats, and commercial vessels.Ability to repair propulsion systems, propellers, and marine mechanical components.

Experience in engine diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.



Responsibilities & Context:

Padma Shipping & Logistics is seeking an experienced and skilled Marine Engineer to join our team for operations based overseas in Singapore or Dubai. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience with marine engines, vessel maintenance, and mechanical systems across different types and sizes of vessels, including ships and yachts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate, inspect, and maintain marine engines and mechanical systems onboard vessels and yachts.

  • Perform installation, troubleshooting, and repair of marine engines, including Yanmar, Mercury, MAN, and other related engine brands.

  • Diagnose and repair engine faults, mechanical failures, and propulsion system issues.

  • Conduct periodic maintenance and servicing of engines, generators, propulsion systems, and other onboard mechanical equipment.

  • Install, repair, and align propellers, shafts, and propulsion components.

  • Ensure vessels operate safely and efficiently by monitoring engine performance and mechanical systems.

  • Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, and technical inspections.

  • Assist with vessel preparation, testing, and sea trials when required.

  • Ensure compliance with marine safety standards and operational procedures.
