Educational Requirements:
∎ The Managing Director (MD) must have at least any of the following educational qualification and professional experiences:
∎ (a) At least Bachelor in business, economics, statistics, mathematics or law including not less than 10 (ten) years management experience;
∎ (b) Professional qualification like CFA, CA, CMA, CS, CPA etc, including not less than 10 (ten) years professional experience.
∎ (c) In respect of exceptional candidate with international exposure in capital market or relevant field, the above qualification may be relaxed by the Board of the Exchange.

∎ Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited (CSE) is a demutualized and an automated bourse in Bangladesh. Since its inception CSE has always been pioneer in adopting new art of services to serve investors, other stakeholders to enrich the capital market of Bangladesh.
∎ CSE has a very strong team of professional and provides excellent working environment to its workforce. CSE invites applications from competent personnel for the position of Managing Director (MD) to hold the key leadership position for planning and directing all the activities and setting strategic decision for the overall growth of the Exchange. The applicant shall be responsible to the CSE Board of Directors for all the matters relating to the management and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) of CSE.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Managing Director (MD) shall be responsible for-
∎ designing measures to protect the interest of investors and shareholders of the Exchange;
∎ free, fair, transparent and efficient management and operation of the Exchange;
∎ effective administration and efficient financial and general management of the Exchange including management of its human resource functions;
∎ market related information technology (IT) of the Exchange;
∎ controlling and directing the officers and staff of the Exchange;
∎ ensuring disclosure of all price sensitive/material information in the manner prescribed by the BSEC or the Exchange;
∎ adopting necessary measures to Pre-empt conflict of interest;
∎ providing extensive financial education to investors, general public, market intermediaries, listed companies and others related to the capital market;
∎ discharging all other duties and responsibilities delegated by the Board from time to time;
∎ representing the Exchange before the BSEC and any other authority concerned;
∎ carrying out the policy, directive, guideline or order issued by the BSEC.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience and sound knowledge on Capital Market.
∎ Knowledge on Information Technology related to Capital Market hardware & software.
∎ Maintain good relationship with concerned regulators
∎ Excellent written and verbal and presentation skill, including the ability to explain complex business situation in clear and concise manner.
