Responsibilities & Context:
Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers and technicians.
Assign tasks, set goals, and monitor team performance.
Provide mentorship and training to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee electrical engineering projects from inception to completion.
Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
Ensure projects meet technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Review and approve electrical designs, drawings, and specifications.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate electrical systems into overall project plans.
Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure compliance with standards.
Oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems and equipment.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to maintain continuous production operations.
Monitor and optimize energy consumption within the facility.
Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce costs and environmental impact.
Ensure the efficient operation of HVAC systems, lighting, sewing machines, generators, boileres, compressors, air conditioners and other electrical infrastructure.
Liaise with production managers, maintenance teams, and external vendors to ensure project requirements are met.
Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders as needed.
Prepare and present project reports and updates to senior management.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
Implement innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of electrical systems.
