∎ At least 10 years of experience out of which 1-2 years in similar position from any large Group of Industries;
∎ Professional Degree SCM Courses will be given preference
∎ Should have experience in the field of Import/ Export through L/C & T/T Freight Forwarding;
∎ Strong knowledge regarding Bill of Lading, other shipping documents, UCPDC, Incoterms and experienced in preparing shipping documents for export and import;
∎ Well conversant with Bond License, Shipping lines, Bank Correspondence & other statutory authorities, and C&F procedure for clearance of the consignment in port;
∎ Fair knowledge of sight, deferred and Back to Back L/C;
∎ Should have clear knowledge on HS Code & SRO

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ · Organize the commercial team and lead them for performing all commercial activities in time.
∎ · Responsible to manage all commercial activities (e.g. issuance of PI, L/C open, amendment/correction, shipment, negotiation with buyers and sellers, payment realization, payment release etc.)
∎ · Sets priorities for tasks and manages time efficiently to meet the company’s expectations and deadlines, which can save the company’s time and money.
∎ · Maintain proper liaison with concerned agencies, trade bodies, banks, shipping line, C&F agents, transport agents, insurance companies, Customs, Bond, VAT department, BTMA, BKMEA etc.
∎ · Follow up of Import L/C and ensure proper HS code for timely clearance of consignments from customs and to save additional costs.
∎ · Maintain liaison for cash incentives of specific products.
∎ · Negotiate with bank for preferential exchange rate for Import and Export.
∎ · Assign various assignments among team members for smooth commercial operations.
∎ · Closely follow up all commercial process to execute in timely and cost effectively.
∎ · Follow up and maintain commercial reports related to Import and Export activities and inform management as required.
∎ · Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines and regulations.
∎ · Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.
∎ · Oversee the entire process of a shipment, from acquisition to delivery.
∎ · Selecting carriers and negotiating contracts and rates.
∎ · Supervising import, export, transportation, and CNF operations.
∎ · CNF bill checking and approval process on Oracle. Reporting to the top management of the company
