Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering

Experience Requirements:
∎ 7 to 8 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To ensure that the required competency is maintained with organizational mission, vision, and strategic objectives
∎ Identify loopholes and weaknesses in production assist to develop effective Standard Operating Procedures
∎ Suggest Management in developing and implementing rules, policy and procedures related to Production.
∎ To make effective plan and ensure production meet.
∎ Productivity analysis - person should know analyzing the labor productivity of the factory and sewing lines.
∎ Research and development for samples prior to production start.
∎ Data analysis - Need to do data analysis and look into monthly trends of each KPI (key performance indicator) and control them after setting a benchmark.
∎ CMT estimation - Providing estimated labor cost (CMT) and productivity to merchandising department.
∎ Co-ordination with planning department for allocation of similar styles, capacity plan, line plan and factory monthly plan based on the history of line and factory efficiency
∎ Co-ordination with planning department for improving the pre- production activities
∎ Co-ordination with Production department for cut plan and finishing plan based on delivery priority.
∎ Monitoring and Auditing activities of his department in all the units.
∎ Excellent knowledge over Lay-out of Pant & Jacket.
∎ Analytical knowledge over Thread Consumption & Line Balancing.
∎ To conduct daily production meeting to discuss related issues.
∎ To ensure shipment as per buyer’s requirements.
∎ Perform all activities and hold responsibility for the production of garments section.
∎ To monitor production on the basis of capacity study, production study, time study, SMV, efficiency, Man-hour & working hour.
∎ Setup daily target at every sewing line, cutting, finishing as per required and supervise effectively.
∎ Supervise the activities of Sewing related all staffs for production target meet.
∎ Ensures to pursue right work, quality & maintenance standard.
∎ Management of 7’M (Motivated manpower, Machine, Material, Minute, Money, Method, Measure) those are key management factor.
∎ Strongly follow-up quality control procedure to ensure quality product finally.
∎ Production worker & staff performance appraisal periodically.
∎ Budgeting over time to control it.
∎ To take all initiatives to reduce cost.
∎ Closely monitor factory over head to control CPM.
∎ Monitor skill test program when recruitment.
∎ Conduct capacity builds training for staff and worker coordination with the Human Resources department.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the management

Additional Requirements:
∎ Skills Required: Industrial Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering.
∎ 02 years of working experience as a Manager will be preferred.
∎ Need to calculate SAM by both rating method & GSD method.
∎ Clear concept of operation breakdown.
∎ Expert in pre-production activities; process study, machine & folder readiness & manpower readiness.
∎ Good knowledge & experienced in incentive management.
∎ Must have knowledge on SOP making & implementation.
∎ Have clear knowledge on Lean tools: Kanab, Kaizen, TPM, 5S.
∎ Good in designing production equipment/tools considering Ergonomics.
∎ Able to draw full factory layout.
∎ High personality & leadership skill.
∎ Deep analytical skill.
∎ Good team player & high adaptability in any situation.
∎ Communication skill in both English & Bengali.
∎ Innovative/ Think differently.
∎ Computer Skill (MS Word, Excel, Power point, E-mail browsing etc.)
