Job Context:
∎ Go On Tour is looking for a Travels, Tours & Holiday Package Manager for its growing Trading Team. The right candidate will have full ownership/responsibility of the growth for this category and report directly to the Director. Working closely with various stakeholders across the company will ensure and maximize its success.
∎ As the Manager of a Travels, Tours & Holidays, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and overall performance of the company. You will lead a team of dedicated professionals in providing exceptional holiday planning and booking services, ensuring their satisfaction and creating memorable experiences. The agency specializes in offering a wide range of holiday packages, including domestic and international destinations, luxury travel, adventure trips, and customized itineraries.
∎ Your role as Manager will involve strategic planning, business development, staff management, maintaining excellent customer relationships, and ensuring efficient tours, holiday packages. You will work closely with the vendors, agency owners and stakeholders to develop and implement growth strategies, set performance goals, and ensure profitability.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ To create holiday travel products based upon consumer insights/needs, which would include various critical aspects like experience, sought, average spending capacity, food and travel preferences etc.
∎ To manage costs through operating efficiencies and product innovation
∎ To manage revenue by taking pricing decisions and utilizing forecasting tools.
∎ To use technology based tools to promote ease of selling among different sales channels
∎ Cross-functional interaction to drive destination agenda with multiple functions like Sales, Contracting, Marketing, Finance etc.
∎ To provide the sales team with the necessary expertise to enable them to sell the product.
∎ Own the performance of the Holiday Package business. Monitor, analyze and report KPIs. Provide meaningful commentary and recommendations to the senior leadership team.
∎ Negotiate agreements with tour operators, build a strong relationship with partners and keep track of contractual obligations.
∎ Work closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate efforts and set goals for efficiency and strategy in your area (e.g. marketing, supply, product, customer service).
∎ Being able to deliver high-quality final output, in line with the main objective, with good cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
∎ Define commercial strategies for promotions and campaigns
∎ Maximize Holiday Package sales. Promote activities, provide visibility and agree necessary support for all planned activities.
∎ Monitor, analyze and make/ test adjustments, to ensure competitiveness in the market. Monitor competitor activities, highlight any content and pricing gaps, to find opportunities to grow.
∎ Support our product team in their improving process of the customer´s booking journey.
∎ Act as the main point of contact for our customer service to analyze and understand the customer feedback and identify relevant improvements.
∎ Meet the target and chase relentlessly to exceed.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 6 to 7 years' extensive experience in a managerial role in a major international airline, travel agency, travel company managing online-offline holidays product; experience with low cost.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Tour packaging, Tour Guide, Holiday Packages, Air ticketing.
∎ Fluent in English Language.
∎ Essential:
∎ Fluent in English (written and verbal)
∎ You have many years of experience in tourism, preferably with a tour operator
∎ Excellent numerical and analytical skills
∎ Thorough and meticulous with extreme attention to detail
∎ Self-motivated, tenacious, uses initiative and problem-solving skills
∎ Great presentation and communication skills
∎ Drive for results and proactive, hands-on approach when needed
∎ Desirable:
∎ Experience in negotiating tour operator agreements
∎ Abilities/Qualities:
∎ Autonomy and proactiveness.
∎ A self-motivated, high-energy approach being able to execute new ideas, from start to finish with professionalism
∎ You have a confident approach and a positive and empathetic nature that helps you connect easily with your stakeholders
∎ Age at least 35 years (Both males and females are allowed to apply)
