Responsibilities & Context:
∎ About the Role:
∎ We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air Ticket Reservation Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of global airline reservation systems, particularly Sabre, Travelport, and Amadeus. Your primary responsibility will be to efficiently process air ticket reservations, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and exceptional customer service.
∎ Key Responsibilities:
∎ Reservation and Ticketing:Process domestic and international air ticket reservations using GDS systems (Sabre, Travelport, Amadeus)
∎ Issue tickets, re-issue tickets, and handle cancellations and refunds
∎ Ensure accurate and timely processing of bookings
∎ Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues
∎ promptly Fare Quoting:
∎ Utilize GDS systems to generate accurate fare quotes for various destinations and travel classes
∎ Stay updated on fare rules, restrictions, and promotional offersItinerary
∎ Creation:
∎ Prepare detailed itineraries, including flight details, visa requirements, and travel tips
∎ Customer Support:
∎ Assist customers with booking modifications, cancellations, and re-bookings
∎ Provide information on flight schedules, delays, and cancellations
∎ Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
∎ Qualifications and Skills:
∎ Bachelor's degree in Travel and Tourism, Hospitality Management, or a related field
∎ Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in air ticket reservations
∎ Proven expertise in using GDS systems, especially Sabre, Travelport, and Amadeus
∎ Strong knowledge of airline ticketing rules, regulations, and procedures
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
∎ Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
∎ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
∎ Fluency in English, both written and spokenWhat
