Responsibilities & Context:
Driving Sampling Making (Sewing & Bonding) of the SBU (Including offsite sampling facilities) and Monitoring Daily, Weekly and Monthly Targets to ensure sample requirements of the business are catered to on time.
Ensuring Samples Making (Sewing) is carried out at the required quality levels by collaborating with product development teams to minimize rejections.
Driving the Sample Making (Sewing) Process by ensuring optimal utilization of resources improve Sampling Lead Time.
Supporting the Sampling Planning Function by monitoring adherence to the Sampling Plan on PLM via Modular Sampling (Sewing) to improve capacity and achieve Productivity Targets.
Monitoring budget utilization to ensure service is provided by optimal use of budget in area under purview (Sample Operations - Spare-Parts, Consumables, Machine Rent) within the allocated budget.
Driving the upskilling & multiskilling of the Sewing & Mechanic Team Members aligned to business requirements by monitoring skill matrices and implementing initiatives for upskilling.
Improve customer service through providing constructive feedback on areas that needs improvements to establish a most feasible / effective process.
Ensure provision of Machine Tech Pack for Applicable Styles to manufacturing to streamline provisional & integration (FI) stages and facilitate better preparation for bulk production.
