Responsibilities & Context:
Tasmia Cosmetics & Toiletries Ltd. is the ISO certified Fast Moving Cosmetics manufacturing company. To support continuous growth, we are looking for smart, energetic and hardworking team member for the following position.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Supply Chain department.
Create the company’s supply chain strategy
Evaluate and report on KPIs
Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
Maintain supply chain inventory and records
Train and guide employees
Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth
Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts)
Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
Sound knowledge on export and Import.
Independently can work on all kind of L/C relate Documents, Banking functions
Sound knowledge about customs related documents and procedure.
Shipment schedule follow up with forwarder.
Sound knowledge about payment terms.
Ensure all logistic activities related to export & import.
Must be able to work independently without minimum supervision
Having knowledge about product HS code.
Preparing invoice, Packing list, B/L and shipping documents.
